This statement explains which personal data the SAEN Rollers website (www.saenrollers.com) collects, why, and what your rights are. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
1. Who we are
SAEN Rollers is part of SAEN Engineering B.V. (KvK 68304056, VAT NL857383504B01), Archangelkade 19D, 1013 BE Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which is responsible (data controller) for this website, and SAEN Engineering LLC, 6421 N. Florida Ave, Suite D-1842, Tampa, FL 33604, USA. Questions about privacy: Letsroll@saenrollers.com or +31 75 369 0106.
2. What we collect and why
Quote and contact requests
When you send a quote request or the contact form, we receive the details you enter (name, company, email address, phone number, country, delivery address, VAT number, your message) and the products in your cart. We use them only to answer your request, prepare a quote and handle a resulting order. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The request reaches us by email.
Technical data
Like every website, our hosting server records technical data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type, to keep the website secure and working. To block spam, our form script keeps an anonymised (hashed) IP address for at most one hour. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Website statistics (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: pages and products viewed, items added to the cart, requests sent, CAD downloads, approximate location (country/city), device type and how you reached us. Google Analytics does not store your IP address; Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google Ireland Ltd. processes this data for us; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you click “Reject”, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
3. Cookies and local storage
The website stores the following small items in your browser:

4. How long we keep your data
Requests and correspondence: as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Orders and invoices: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. Server logs: according to the retention period of our hosting provider (usually a few weeks). Google Analytics data: 14 months.
5. Who receives your data
We do not sell or rent your data. Your data is processed only by parties that help us run the website and handle orders: our hosting and email provider (in the Netherlands), Google (website statistics, only with your consent), and, for an order, the production and logistics partners who need the order details to make and ship your rollers.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email Letsroll@saenrollers.com; we respond within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the authority in your own country.
7. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who handle your request have access to your data.
8. Changes
We may update this statement when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
